Guys. What if the exho of command and maya's desire to give her vex individuality sort of restores people previously assimilated into the colective. Darkness remembers lives past while light creates lives new, what if the echo can create distinct identities within the vex collective while also reminding those who were previously assimilated who they were. The vex would have simulated versions of these people, so there would be an existing reference. Basically, I want asher back so bad I want to encounter a friendly hobgoblin that's him. The horror of it all, maya's will to restore the past accidentally restoring his sense of identity, but he'd be completely vex. He'd be under her control or maybe he managed to break free, we know he has a strong will and that he maintained a distinct identity within the vex network for years.
