lrb god that reminds me. i had a dream last night where i went to the ga (1)aquarium with my mom and told her about (2)oryx, and she was immediately cured of her transphobia.

it didn't even look like the ga aquarium in the slightest, not the outside or inside. it was closing down and being renovated to become a tall classy hotel/bank, maybe that's why? the aquarium was still open for the time being, but instead of moving a bunch of the fish, they kept them there in these plain cramped tanks you'd see in pet shops. that one big oceanarium tank they used to keep whale sharks in was still KIND OF there, but mostly cut down so you could only peer down into it, and a majority of the animals were gone, save for some fish and this big blackish-blue jet-like shark ray that was zooming around and splashing everyone.

oryx was like. a real guy in this dream. i told her that he used his big sword to shape the stars (??? what), and she was like "WOAAAAHH!!!!"
