i’m ngl i think if i was making half of the amount of meaningful art and statements as dtm and other artists in regards to the ending of d2 i’d be more at peace with myself in all this. i also feel like i have no room to talk though, because i spent months bitching and feeling detached from the entire game. it feels disingenuous of me to be heartbroken that the game is being croaked because of how little i felt affected by its passing. i don’t really subscribe to the whole “you’re not a real fan if” mindset, but god, it feels really awful to have these feelings.
