Drifter being bad at acting in that scene with blue is so funny to me because he's theatrical as shit and cons people and does sleight of hand and has used a million fake identities but when he's acting from a script he just. cannot seem to get past cringing at himself
Idk I just enjoy it as a tiny bit of flavor they added to an already very well developed character. he's a showman. all the fucking time. but blue makes him rehearse a play and suddenly he's the least convincing man ever
Extra good imo because he's also not always that good at the stuff he does with full confidence. Like there's older lore of him thinking he's being sneaky and the vanguard basically going does he really think that worked?? And he's willing to brag about that kind of stuff, but in this one setting of stage theater he can't conjure that back up. Its such a fun dynamic
also also I've said this before but from a doylist perspective there's few things I enjoy more with any form of acting than a good actor playing a bad actor. If you can convince me that the character is bad at acting while being good at acting as the character being terrible and not breaking immersion......... Top tier
