Stars are what fill the dark blue sky, doing little to enlighten all around on their own. The soft wind caressing the delicate roses growing along the grass of an open field, bringing another type of beauty to the wild, fireflies dancing around.
Among the grass and the flowers, two boys sit facing each other while a song from a phone goes around the air with sweet notes and lyrics.
“The beauty of her face was beyond my wildest dreams, like cherry blossoms blooming in the mountain in the early spring” Spelldon sings faintly along the lyrics, eyes looking into Valentine's as if he were the most beautiful flower, hand resting on the vampire's knee.
Valentine met his gaze, eyes reflecting the light of fireflies moving around, the dark night making his pale skin glow beautifully and the witch genuily thought for a second he was infront of a deity.
Kieran gets a hold of the heart necklace he's wearing, for less than a second, a heart Spelldon gave to him. Then his hand moved, slowly, gently, cupped Spell's cheek, a smile appearing on his lips without his consent.
The witch was already smiling, moving closer to his boofriend, appreciating how divine he looked infront of him wearing clothes he knew the vampire wouldn't wear infront of anyone else. The look he gave him. Oh, eyes don't lie.
Before the song could reach its end, the witch stopped it and stopped himself, lips almost touching Valentine's.
“And the end of the song?” Kieran asked, eyes on his boyfriend's lips.
“All you have to know about the end is that you hold my heart” Spelldon answered before closing the distance, moving his lips with his delicatly, like someone who's afraid to rip a flower's petals.
“I love you” Val murmurs against his lips.
“You're everything my eyes can see” Spell answers as he pulls away to rest his forehead against Kieran's. The next thing he knew, both of them were laying on the grass, surrounded by flowers and fireflies, counting stars together.
