If Aurora was to hypothetically get an actual code name what would it be?
That is a very good question.
If Aurora decided that she did want a codename (and did not want to go the Jean Grey, Dani Moonstar, Emma Frost route of just ditching (or rarely using her codename), I think she and Jeanne-Marie would have very different opinions on what that code name would be.
I think some interesting options for Aurora would be:
Sagatarius
Lady of the Light
Andromeda
Since we seem to be in agreement that Aurora is a fan of star signs and I headcanon her and Northstar as being sagatarius, I can see her possibly making that her code name.
Yes there was a superhero named Sagatarius, but he hasn't been around since the 80s, so I don't think he'll mind.
Lady of the Light, because for awhile Aurora was branding herself as more light powers based than her brother. However it's kind of a mouthful.
Andromeda, naming herself as a star (in similar vein to Jean-Paul), it sounds similar to her old codename, but not so similar that it's confusing or pointless.
I think Jeanne-Marie would have her own opinions on code names. However, I can't really think of any she would chose off the top of my head. Coming up with Aurora's names was difficult enough.
