human adamsapple where adam’s a devout church goer/priest but it becomes a struggle when he meets lucifer because he’s suddenly feeling for a man and hates that lucifer is making him sin and being a temptation, while not even knowing lucifer is lucifer, and having even more of a personal religious crisis when he does learn who lucifer is because he’s known nothing but to oppose these things all his life and knows nothing else
or even if its human lucifer who would go to adam’s church, adam still is struggling with all tbose feelings but so is lucifer and that causes a rift between them because they are unsure if they’re even allowed to feel such things between eachother until lucifer realizes how fucked up it is and manages to escape the church and pull away adam from it as well so they can actually try to heal and become happy within their queer children
