I'll be fine tomorrow once hubs can go pick up the paper prescription refill, and take it to the pharmacy, but between now and then, I'm completely crippled, and maxing out alternating dosages on otc pain medicine until then. Oh, also here's your "opiate crisis," America. People like me who need those medications to function every day with tolerable levels of pain (a 5-6) are experiencing straight up cruel reductions in prescribed pain management, which means running out on a weekend and having to call the doctor on Monday. My husband had to put sweat pants and shoes on me today because I couldn't.

...but it’s not always our symptoms that make it hard. Not the doctor’s appointments, the hospital stays, the way people look at you, the financial aspect.
