Okay I am reviving the double date situation but lets do it like that tv show Wife Swap/Trading Spouses where Ben is with El and Mike with Devi

Ben being with El I can honestly see working, she would get annoyed with and want him to shut up and stop bragging sometimes but I think also individually he would remind her of a Mike/Dustin combo and she would develop a soft spot for him.

Lowkey I feel like Ben and Devi would be the kind of couple who think they're 1000X better and smarter than Mileven and Ben would absolutely try to prove he's better than Mike. Mike would absolutely hate Ben and think he's a pompous asshole. El might like Devi's fashion though but not sure if they would get to that point
why does it always come back to this show. like hello ben is this lonely only child rich kid who lives alone in this big mansion because his parents are always working or on vacation and he doesnβt have any real friends who donβt use him for his money. and because heβs so lonely deviβs mom invites him over to dinner out of obligation so he can eat with a family like what. and then he flies all the way from the east coast to los angeles just to say i love you to her. like omg hi welcome back cooper bradford. and omg devi is just so special to me. her whole princeton thing is very reminiscent of blair waldorf and even oliver otto and seeing her actually achieve her dreams means so much to me (and is honestly refreshing?? lmao) i just love her sm
