Did we play the same game? I don't think Ralsei would have done this at the start of chapter 5.

Also, the FloweryScarf is presented as something that no matter if Ralsei equips it or not they have to follow Flowery's philosophy in some way. If they do equip it they essensially have to agree with Flowery's idea of maximising stats, and if they don't they have to say no to Kris/the player. Flowery does specifically want the latter, though.

And here Flowery is poking at Ralsei's reliance on prayer and outside help, contrasted to when he's being earnest and reassuring them that they can change things on their own.

Bonnie: Because she has so many sides to her, that becomes part of her charm. There are sides she doesn't show to other people. She only gets affectionate with me. I rarely… I've never seen her act that way with anyone else.

Emi: Bonnie might be affectionate with other people because that's just her nature. She…

Bonnie: I like physical affection.

Emi: Yes, skinship. Whenever I see her with her family, especially her dad, she's incredibly cute. So I was like… I've never met anyone like this before in my life. Someone so sweet and cuddly. I'm the kind of person who picks up habits from whoever I'm around.

Bonnie: She's picked up lots of things from me, like my phrases and accent.

Emi: But I only dare to act that way with that person. If she gets affectionate with me, I only get affectionate with her.

Bonnie: I've stopped doing it now, but she's still affectionate with me.

Emi: Sometimes, she has this.. What I find especially cute about her is this childlike side… this innocence that reminds me you can still do things like that. Maybe, I've been through more in life and become a little too jaded. But she's just like… ("Let's do it. Let's go for it".) Sometimes, she just really doesn't over think things. She says she overthinks, but I don't think it's that much.
