Idk who needs this information, but yesterday I found out about 'adrenaline hangovers.'
After a panic/ anxiety attack, you're left feeling exhausted, on edge, and probably with brain fog. During an attack like that, your brain pumps your body full of adrenaline, and after the attack ends, your body has used up so much energy that you're left feeling like shit.
Some people can recover quickly, but other people, like myself, might take hours to days to fully recover.
I had a really bad anxiety attack last night that really made me feel like I was dying, and I'm still recovering today. This morning I was shakey and on edge, but I'm doing a little better now.
There's no single "cure" for this, but you can do little things to help. Eating and hydrating is a great start due to how much energy you run through during an attack. If you can, take time to yourself; watch a movie, play a game, take a nap, whatever works for you
