darning
The embroidery technique used to repair holes in fabric by using running stitches and thread woven in-between those stitches to repair a hole. If youâre interested in employing this stitch, check out this awesome darning tutorial by Evelyn Wood!
sashiko
This type of traditional Japanese mending practice is used to reinforce the strength of fabric as well as decorate. It is a great solution for mending holes with patches and well to reinforce thinning fabric! For learning the basics of Sashiko there is a wonderful beginners tutorial by Benzie Design.

Patches are very versatile when used for repairing clothes. You can sew it over a hole in your fabric or you can also so the patch in the inside to have it peek out. There is a great tutorial for custom DIY patches by wastelesscrafts and Creating with misp has a tutorial on mending with a peek-through patch.Â

Look up Compassion Fatigue. We are getting barraged with so much bad crap that we are developing a condition which, until recently, was mostly found among medical personnel, police, fire fighters, social workers and other people who deal with horrifying things on regular basis.
the thing is that itâs not even compassion fatigue, itâs also that someone is already talking about [THING]. how did the person asking the accusatory question learn about [THING] in the first place? unless itâs information they invented on the spot, they learned about it from...someone talking about it.
this question is always asked by someone who just arrived and is immediately furious that everyone else isnât there already.
the most generous way to interpret that question is âhow did it take so long for me to hear about this?â but asked by someone without the necessary self-reflection skills to realize they are projecting that frustration onto the wrong people.

Hi fun fact, colors do have meaning and there is a legit thing called color theory. Red does has more positive connotations than negative like the @mintymaiden said. Red is associated with more love, lust, passion than blood and death just like the chart shows you but If you want, hereâs a link for you to check it out yourself.
