These oven-baked barbecue fries are easy to make and have fewer calories than traditional fried fries. They are seasoned with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper, then baked until crispy. Drizzle with vegan barbecue sauce for a flavorful twist!
Ingredients: 4 large russet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 teaspoons smoked paprika. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 cup vegan barbecue sauce.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 425F 220C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated. Spread the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Drizzle the barbecue sauce over the fries and toss to coat. Serve the barbecue fries hot, with additional barbecue sauce for dipping if desired.
