Can't stop thinking about other occasions where this might have happened in life, such as Achilles learning that Patroclus's sails have been spotted--he's back from ransoming Trojans for him--and Achilles reacts to the news by sprinting up and down the beach while waiting for Patroclus to disembark like an overexcited dog who doesn't know where to put all that energy

Patroclus leaning over and whispering something in Achilles' ear and then everyone watches as he does eight laps around the entire Achaean camp while Patroclus just smiles smugly
