you know, for all I joke about quarantine being my normal life, I never realised how much I liked having the option to go out if I want to.

The average Bernie supporter wasn't the Poindexter white dude bernie bro on Twitter, it was very young, extremely alienated nonwhite people who have little coherent ideology except a comprehension that 1. Their lives and everything around them sucks and 2. That they're extremely pissed off and angry at the government and the political status quo in general. You can convince the loser Bernie bro dude who tweets nonstop about politics to vote, but you're not going to convince impoverished people of color whose politics are fueled primarily by anger and alienation to waste their free time voting for a right wing conservative for the singular goal of restoring the very status quo that they despise. That's where the Democrats are gonna feel the hurt on November.

The democrats are well educated people, this isn't incompetency - there's a reason they keep playing directly in to the hands of the far-right It's not incompetence it's collaboration Politics is theater, it's pantomime - it's not even well written

i think what pisses me off the most about the new diagnostic criteria and the HSD tables is that none of the HSD diagnostic criteria mention any of the other problems a lot of us have, like POTs/dizziness/visual distortions etc. and all the gastro issues and skin softness/brittleness/easy bruising etc. and gyno issues that are also pretty common and chronic fatigue, so it just feels like a really incomplete and kind of dismissive diagnosis?
