The movie Obsession has like themes of rape and consent right? That's the gist I got from people talking about it on youtube. My brother was trying to get me and my mom to watch it and when I said I don't really like watching things with themes like that, he very vehemently was like "its not about rape". And he wouldn't stop texting me about it and saying shit like you need to be more open minded and not listen to everything you read online. Just like being really rude. I'm like, its not a big deal, I just don't want to watch a movie

So my mom watched Obsession with my brother and I elected not to. Afterwards my mom said, "you were wrong. There wasn't any rape or anything like it. You would have been fine". Okay so I guess every youtube video on it and all the people online that told me not to watch it if stuff like that bothers me were wrong/sarcasm
