Finished his last bow: an epilogue of sherlock holmes. Honestly as something as interesting of a concept as Holmes last case, I found this one pretty anticlimactic. You mostly just see the end result of Holmes investigation. Not too fond of it being about World War I, but I get why Doyle would have done it. I would have liked something a bit more exciting, something that felt like the penultimate Sherlock Holmes mystery. Idk, just something more than that at least. It had some nice references though, and I like the idea of Holmes retiring as a beekeeper. I do take issue though with it implying that Holmes and Watson hadn't met in years and likely won't again after the case. Their relationship is more than just solving cases together and I don't believe they wouldn't still be around each other after retirement. Anyway, little weird that I still have 12 short stories left after the epilogue. Guess Case Book of Sherlock Holmes is last
