Okay, steam summer sale ends tomorrow afternoon. I made my choices. Only got 3 games: Digimon Story Time Stranger for around $30 (much better than the $70 I would have paid when it came out), Outer Wilds for $11, and Ni No Kuni for $7 I think. Little tip, all these games are a little cheaper on fanatical right now than on steam, especially when you use the 5% off coupon you get after each purchase. Also anyone looking for recommendations: Alice Madness Returns is $2 and A Plague Tale Innocence is $4. Both among my favorite games of all time

Adventure of the Red Circle was a pretty decent one. I have to say, the longer you go in reading Sherlock Holmes, or publication order more accurately, the better Doyle got at making the mystery actually feel like a mystery

Finished The Adventure of the Cardboard Box. Probably not one of my favorites but enjoyable enough. A woman receiving two severed human ears in the mail is different enough from the usual Holmes mysteries that its a bit refreshing. Also Sarah was absolutely right to encourage her sister to leave a guy that would kill two people, one his wife, and cut off their ears. Fuck that guy
