Something I haven't seen people mention is how these internet verification laws will affect closeted people. Lot of people who use the anonymity of the internet to express aspects of themselves they can't irl for one reason or another. And having to attach an ID to your profile will make it feel less safe to do so for sure

sony cutting off physical discs while also implementing a system that doesnt allow you to actually own ur digital games due to that 30 day verification whatever not to mention outside of gaming for the past few years sony has stopped producing on physical formats which is insane because THEY developed nearly every format every company uses( dvd, bluray, cd, etc ) so they have the biggest hand on production leaving a vacuum now that theyve stopped plus being absolutely shady with their digital marketplaces most recent example w/ pulling studio canal conent & the funimation / crunchyroll merger still has missing anime never added back to the app the shut down of multiple studios + the end of destiny 2 despite wanting to focus on live service which is just code for focusing on gta6's online mode & nothing else like adding the years upon years upon years of extra added shady sony horsepiss not just playstation but sony as a whole the fuck am i expected to spend a SINGLE dime with them again

Oof Playstation has announced they're ending physical disk production in 2028. Which pretty much means the ps6 and all 3 of its games will be digital only. I kind of figured one of the big three console companies would go digital only someday, but honestly, I kind of figured it'd be xbox

Watched episodes 3, 4, and 5 of Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken. I really like this show. Its a love letter to animation. Particularly enjoyed the machete girl project they did in episode 4. Also stand by my autistic Asakusa headcanon

The Sheep Detectives 2026, dir. Kyle Balda
The Sheep Detectives is fun because it's a mystery about sheep trying to solve the murder of their beloved shepherd while also learning about the concept of death and there is a lot of heavy discussion about death and what happens to us (both humans and animals) when we die and we see examples of both of these types of death and it rips your heart out and then puts it back together in the end and also one of the sheep is voiced by Patrick Stewart and he makes funny sounds when he sticks his tongue out
