So the five myths that I put together for the little freebie are:

Myth 1: There is only one kind of self care OR There aren't different types of self care

Myth 2: Self care and self love are the same thing

Myth 3: Self Care is easy

Myth 4: Self care is always about "doing things for yourself"

Myth 5: Self care can be anything

...

It’s five of the most common self care myths that I’ve come across (and then I debunk them/explain the truth). I decided I wanted to add a bonus couple myths, so if anyone has any questions/things they’ve wondered/heard and wanted to get feedback on… send ‘em my way. I’ll let you know if it’s already in there, and if not, I’ll let you know if I plan on adding it then.

Oh gosh, quite a few - if you’re ever unsure, you can always ask and if I feel that I’m not qualified or comfortable providing the guidance/support you need I can outsource to any followers that might have more experience than me…

You can totally ask - I’m a fairly open book on here. I’d say I’m more of a leftist than I used to be. I’m kind of like Bernie Sanders when he says since he has to pick one, he is normally a Registered Independent, but will caucus with the Democrats. I have a lot of issues with Establishment Democrats (and that’s why I call myself a leftist). Technically, I am a registered Independent, but I use that strategically depending on where I am living at the time, if there are open primaries, etc. Basically I try to make my vote count as much as possible - sometimes that is voting for someone, sometimes against someone.

I also love a good protest vote; I’m not talking about “Jill Stein in the Generals” type thing, but how during the primaries of our last presidential election in the US, a large Muslim population in Michigan did not vote for Kama Harris (knowing she would win anyway), so ask to speak out and call further attention to the Palestinian genocide. I’ve heard people call that specific example I cited as “stupid”, but I thought it was a great way to use people power and those that bad-mouth that tactic for advocacy and protest aren’t understanding the bigger picture. They were not throwing away their votes, they were taking a stand.
