I literally couldn’t care less if we lose good bands and good movies if it means outing sexual predators. Let it all fall apart if that’s what it takes to stop allowing these disgusting people safe places to abuse their power. Fuck your favorite movies, fuck your favorite tv shows, fuck your favorite albums. Stop defending bad people because they make good content.

For every predator in a business, there are countless victims who were driven out, whose contributions we never got to see. Be mad about those instead.

i do not know a SINGLE person, not even out of my friends, not even out of the most woke people on this damn site, that only likes unproblematic things. every single one of us likes something that’s fucking garbage. so some of y’all can climb down off your high horses and stop competing for the “least problematic” award honest to god.

this fucks me up so much, cuz I thought one of the big reasons tsa doesn’t want you bringing liquids onto the plane, is cuz you might actually be bringing liquid chemicals that you can mix together once on the plane to create a bomb or noxious gas. But here they’re asking you to pour all your liquids together in a bin…..???

Shocking that the goverment isn’t smart or useful

One of my least favourite dialogue tropes is when a man tells a woman, “You can’t do that” or “I wouldn’t do that if I were you” and she says, “Why? Because I’m a woman and therefore too weak to handle this/can’t take care of myself?” or something to that effect and the guy replies with, “No, because everyone who tried that ended up with a bullet in their brain” or something equally reasonable and not gender-specific that paints him as the rational not sexist guy and the woman as an irrational paranoid feminist who searches for sexism in everything. This whole scenario is built on the idea that sexism is over and women’s fears and suspicions don’t have a leg to stand on. It’s also self-congratulatory pseudofeminism bc it’s supposed to make the viewer/reader/listener feel that in this specific work of fiction women are treated respectfully and as equal with men.

Do not for the love of god group me in with these children that think this phrase is okay. As a millennial I personally think the phrase is immature and shows that younger people today don’t like being told they are wrong or when a person older than them doesn’t listen to them. Go fight in the war or live through the depression than come back and cry to me about how older people don’t listen to you. Maybe it’s for this reason.
