Multichap Fics for 2026

Figured it might be nice to share the multichap fics that I’m planning on posting to Ao3 in 2026 in the order that I’m hoping to get to them in. I’ll update this post with links once they’re on Ao3. The first chapter dates are very much a hope and a dream at the moment, except for Under Protection. That one’s a promise.

ive uh. been thinking about them lately

As someone who usually writes the title and description of fics before I write the majority of said fic, what always has me hesitating before posting on Ao3 is actually figuring out the rating.

It's like, oh, this one's pretty short. It should be good to be General. And then, as I'm checking for formatting issues, I remember that the main character literally gets shot. Plus, there's some swearing. Which has me bumping it up to Teen.

At least, with any of my Mature fics, it's because I'm slapping a Graphic Depictions of Violence warning on them, which makes the rating easy to figure out. It's that line between General and Teen that always has me hesitating. But nobody's complained yet, so I must be making the right call.

possibly my favorite kind of ship is when it seems kind of unhinged, why would these two be together, they can’t possibly have any chemistry, but then you think about it some more and read the fanfics and you’re like wait a fucking second…

I’m gonna need you all to get more obsessed with Supergirl 2026. It’s literally every single sarcastic, messy, depressed, grieving, male lead from recent media that accidentally adopts an angry, young girl (also grieving) which forces him to confront his self destructive behavior and realize the impact he can still make. But she’s a girl. This is the character you all love in every piece of media. I’m begging you all to adore her the same way.
