[Even "slightly annoyed" is honestly a overstatement, I try not to waste too much emotional energy on fanfiction and the like. Anyway-]

Yes Gaslighting in most situations is bad, but look at it from Danny's perspective. Hes a half ghost living with ghost hunters, and regardless if you think a 'reveal gone bad' is an actual possibility, Danny was actually worried about his parents finding out and taking it badly, it was an actual fear he had easrly in the show and up until they actually found out. And thats not taking into consideration that the GIW, incompetent as they're sometimes played up as, is hanging around. It only takes one lucky shot before Danny's in a crap situation. And thats disregarding any ghost hunters that aren't sh*t at their job that might take Wes' claims seriously.

I've seen some people say "Well danny could have become his friend and tell him like he told Sam and Tucker." But, again, from Danny's perspective, Wes found out his secret, and then immediately tried to tell people. I don't know about you, but if I had a secret that was litterally half-life and full-death, and someone found out and immediately tried to tell everyone, I would never want to be their friend.

And from Wes' perspective, yeah the situation also sucks. You know this big peice of information, but everyone won't believe you, or thinks your crazy. It sucks, and I'd be way more sympathetic if the information he was trying to spread wasn't linked to another person's survival.
