It’s okay to not want to have sex ever. It’s okay to never even try it.
I was 23 before it even occurred to me that not starting with sex ever was an option. The feeling of relief was so great I actually cried.
You don’t have to if you don’t want to. You can have a fine live without ever having sex, I promise you.
Also, it’s okay to never date anyone ever. It’s okay to never even try it if you don’t want to.
I wrote a master’s thesis on intentionally single people, and the number of them that said in various ways, “I didn’t know not dating people was even an option at first” was absolutely tragic. They honestly thought they had no choice and it never occurred to them that opting out was even a possibility available to them.
People honestly believe these are life experience you are required to have AND THEY ARE NOT.
You can just not have sex. You can just not date people. You can completely by-pass one or both of those things. Neither of those things are required to be healthy, happy, normal, mature, fulfilled, or any of the other bullshit notions that get attached to these things.
Sex positivity is about bodily agency which includes the choice to NOT/NEVER have sex, so inclusion of asexual/celibate/sex repulsed people will always be a pillar of any real discussion of sex positivity and sexual freedom.
I just learned yesterday that watermelons could explode when overripe and then today one exploded in my kitchen. So I guess I'll never learn anything new ever again just to be safe.

I explained the “x before gta6” meme to my immigrant father and he, in turn, explained to me how back in his day in Romania, they had the same type of joke, except instead of it being gta6, it was about the imminent death of a singer named Gică Petrescu, who everyone was continuously shocked by because he refused to die. Every time a momentous event happened people would say, in essence: “This happened and Gică Petrescu hasn’t even died yet?!?”
So. He understood the gta6 meme immediately because they apparently had the same thing in Romania when he was young, except way, way more morbid
been trying to live not just deliciously but also authentically and so today's plans were lunch and museum date with a friend
and we got a little indulgent with it and thought hey let's throw in a book store visit why not
but then the air quality dropped again and we were like should we
but we were like you know we'll be mostly indoors so let's still do it
and then a thunderstorm warning hits and we were like okay that's okay let's do a little later, wait out the worst of it, spend a little less time at the royal ontario museum maybe
and then there was a tornado warning and that was a bit much no? like at this point the weather's trying a little too hard to disrupt our plans
we're like okay let's do later but do a different museum, we can get free admission through the library for the bata shoe museum so let's do that then dinner then bookstore
we got boba before the museum, the museum was cool, i liked learning so much about the history of shoes, dinner was korean street food, went to a used bookstore after dinner
so change of plans due to weather but still really lovely day, i bought three books
