In volume 2, in the first episode right before the food fight, the whole inciting incident was Nora was throwing food for Yang to catch in her mouth. During this scene we get the iconic "I always kick my semesters off with a YANG" line from Yang, but you may notice the weird motion she does when saying this. This right here, this is where Yang was supposed to remove a tied cherry stem from her mouth, proudly showing it off to Blake. That motion is a remnant of an animation they intended to add.

I honestly don't know why it was cut but god if it wasn't, all I'm saying is there would be no shock as to why Yang is such a good kisser that Blake literally popped her leg
