thinking about more dickwyll parallels in regards to your last rb is making me SICK. think about comparing the pact w mizora to dickâs relationship w tarantula
oohohoh yeah. DAMN. ok now i'm thinking about this one too
You know honestly Wyll did not go through enough of an arc in bg3 not to offer himself up as a potential mind flayer. Like obviously it shouldnt be an actual option bc too many players would sacrifice him in a heartbeat.
BUT you canât tell me Mr âgave up his soul for his city, his humanity for Karlach, and already resigned to going to the hellsâ wouldnât do it all again in a heartbeat. At least itâs a form that he can choose this time.
The man is passively suicidal and doesnât value his own safety. You cannot convince me any of that changed over the course of the game. All of Wyllâs big reveals (finding out he can be sent after people who werenât evil on a technicality, that Balduran wasnât a hero, that everything his father was training him for built up to a pile of bones who doesnât see his worthiness or even acknowledge him properly then tries to kill him, that the cost of his freedom is his fatherâs life and soon he will have no powers with which to help others OR his only friends reaffirm that his happiness comes secondary, plus his âfriendâ potentially sleeping with his ABUSER!!!) would only stir his resolve, pushing him to be the hero who will make up for these shortcomings whether his or others. The Blade of Frontiers isnât just a title, itâs a coping mechanism for the little boy that got abandoned at 17 for doing the right thing, who had to justify his fatherâs decision because the alternative is that his hero wasnât perfect. Wyll has spent 7 years trying to make up for well, being him.
Maybe the big heroic act will this time fix the hurt and make him enough.
asked one of my coworkers how she's doing today and she goes "could be better, could be worse," and another coworker nearby who was eavesdropping chimes in with "could be a lil bit o' alligator curse!" i have no idea what he meant by that but i do know that it has been immediately added to the lexicon.

Suddenly struck with a need to explain to you how boat pronouns work (I work in the marine industry).
When you're talking about the design of the boat, you say "it".
When the boat is still being built, your say "it".
When the boat is nearing completion, you can say "it" or "she".
When the boat is floating in the water you probably say "she", unless there is still a lot of work to be done (e.g. no engine yet) then you say "it".
When the boat is officially launched and operating, you say "she". If you continue to say "it" at this point you are not incorrect but suspiciously untraditional. You are not playing the game.
If you are referring to a boat you don't really know anything about you may say "it" ("there's a big boat, it's coming this way"). But if you know its name, it's probably "she" ("there's the Waverley, she's on her way to Greenock").
If you are talking about boats in general, you say "it" ("when a boat is hit by a wave it heels over")
If you speak about a boat in complimentary terms, it's "she" ("she's a grand boat"). If you are being disparaging it may be it, but not necessarily ("it's as ugly as sin", "she's a grotty old tub").
If she has a boy's name, she's still she. "Boy James", "King Edward", "Sir David Attenborough"? The pronoun is she.
If it's a dumb barge (no engine), you say it. But if it's a rowing boat (no engine), you say she.
I hope this has cleared things up so that you may not be in danger of misgendering floating objects.
Hit "view post" and lost it

Favourite thing about them
ummm everything?
but seriously, his voice his just...wow.....Theo Solomon the man that you are. So talented, with a gorgeous buttery voice to boot.
also, he's literally nice!! He's been a psychosexual torment nexus since he was 17 and he's the most well adjusted member of the tadfools.
Least favourite thing about them
The way Larian treats him. wdym fans had to mod in Theo's dialogue from the in game files? wdym they excluded him from promotional artwork? if Larian has no haters I'm dead
Favourite line
He's literally sooooo dreamy
brOTP
WYLLACH QPR IS REAL IN MY HEART
OTP
Redeem Durge/Wyll!!!!! He sees past what they've done, what they were. He sees them for who they are and who they're trying to be!!!
nOTP
Wyllzora....get that white demon away from him
Random headcanon
He becomes a bard after breaking his pact, he's got the charisma and the panache for it!!!
Unpopular opinion
He's not mean enough to Astarion
Songs i associate with them
Love Like You - Rebecca Sugar
The Line - Twenty One Pilots
Favourite picture of them

I love Wyll being like, "Karlach's so dangerous and scary, she didn't even care about the risk of climbing onto a mind flayer ship!! Naturally I then Also climbed onto a mind flayer ship to go after her."
I hope Karlach was there going "wtf not even a mind flayer ship is enough to stop this Blade of Frontiers asshole chasing me, what is his damage??" as she climbs aboard a mind flayer ship herself.
Both glaring at each other like wow you're insane, what is wrong with you?? as they do the exact same thing. They're perfect <3
