I'm so excited for what we have in store for this year's D23, especially for Frozen 3. I do expect us to get a little more at least than what we got for 2024's D23. Two years ago we got a first look at the very first made concept art for the film. We also got a board full of questions that fans still had wondering and other questions that were still interesting to think about. Not to mention, we also got a look at the Frozen 3 logo as seen in your image. And not one but two. The other had a ok k gradient and was released just moments before the panek had begun.

To answer your question, what are my predictions for what they'll reveal this year, I think we could get more look at Frozen 3. Maybe stills or concept art if they have some ready to share or maybe a tiny teaser (not a teaser trailer for that'll be saved for next year). I will say though we haven't got anything official yet on Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff being in the studio voicing their lines so it's unknown if they stated or not. Josh Gad and Kristen Bell have and Gad has been teasing about it too. We could get first looks at Elsa and Anna's official outfit for the movie but again not too sure about that since for Frozen 2 we saw their first looks by a leak of a Russian calendar (I remember exactly where I was then 🥹). I don't expect a poster featuring the sisters just yet but key art and posters with the logo could be likely. If Disney goes the same route as Zootopia 2 and Toy Story 5, then they'll reveal the antagonist or a new protagonist that works with Elsa and Anna and their voice actors. They should still reveal the main cast. We should get more plot details or the actual plot though.

Oh I almost forgot - it was recently revealed that we'll get a "preview" at D23. I don't know if that means a teaser trailer or a snippet though ofc that's what that preview means but I wasn't expecting any kind of footage so soon but I trust the team that they know what they're doing. We barely know anything about the movie so I wouldn't mind a little teaser to keep us in anticipation.

Aside from Frozen 3, I expect a clarification on the "short" that's announced to be released this October. If it's a 3D short we should know more about it, if it's just the regular 2D shorts on YouTube like Winter Festival and Animals of Arendelle, then I expect no word of it since they've never been announced on stage or at all really. Frozen fan fest would be 2 months away from D23 so we could get announcements on what this year's Frozen fan fest will be like.

Well folks, here it is. Our 5th anniversary! The quote above comes from my friend @bigfrozenfan shortly after our 4th anniversary and we think it's a perfect summary of the works of Arendelle Archives since its inception in 2021.

The Frozen franchise is a fine example of Disney world-building and with two movies, several short films and numerous novels, books and comics, there is A LOT of material to dig into an analyse. And that has always been the goal of the Archives-project: to provide a platform for fans who want to create their own analysis-projects, write articles, post findings and theories and so on. We want to be a stepping-stone for fans, both old and new, to explore some of the underlying, niche Frozen-topics that only gets a brief mention or hint in the movies. Like, what's the deal with Hans's ship? When was Arendelle founded? How did Runeard build his dam? Are there any accurate maps of Arendelle and other Disney kingdoms? What's the chronology of the movies and the novels? How many named characters are there in Arendelle and why are so many of them called Lars?

These are just a handful of topics that we have explored during our five years and with Frozen III on the horizon, we expect there will be plenty more lore to dig into very soon!

Today is a special day for us. It's the 5th anniversary of Arendelle Archives! First, I want to say thanks to our team. It is the participation of us together that makes the Archives flourish and stay creative. Five years ago, we were only 4 members with 2 projects, but take a look at what we've achieved so far: there are 57 members on Discord with a variety of channels to discuss. There's a Tumblr blog where we post completed projects and answer to the questions people asked. We even have a video on YouTube through collaboration. I would say the achievements today have gone beyond my initial expectations, and I'm proud to be a member of Arendelle Archives. Special thanks to my friend @virtual-winter who has always been enthusiastic and putting a lot of efforts here for all these years. The Archives would not be so lively without his sustained efforts. Second, we will not stand still by admiring the past, of course. The next five years will be even more exciting! In one year and a little more, Frozen III will come out, followed by Frozen IV. I'm sure that the whole fandom will be heated once again in the next few years, and we royal archivists will get tons of documentations to work on then. I promise the Archives will always be a good platform to share ideas, discuss, collaborate and conduct projects freely. We have obtained all these achievements together, and we will continue to do this together. The flag of Arendelle Archives will always fly! 🎇🎇🎇
