I wanted to make a silly but simple pigeon using nomad sculpt as practice. As I was modeling him, my boyfriend told me something was missing; a helicopter hat. He was then complete, and made whole again once reunited with what he never knew was meant to be his. Him and his hat are now inseparable.

He can also be found waiting for the train with his lunchbox and cup. They’re a bit heavy for him, but if there is a will there is a way.

Just had a cool movie idea.

It follows a carrier pigeon trying to find someone to deliver the message to, sadly the place it was going to had been destroyed before he arrives. He makes friends with the typical cast, an energetic but smart woman (jackdaw), a "cool guy" that secretly cares (seagull), and the one that's a different animal entirely but the biggest party animal (dog, cat, I could maybe see a lizard here?).

The story goes that he leaves his original owner to deliver a message to a man, what's on the message isn't revealed yet, but he witnesses the town he needed to go to be destroyed, he spends the rest of his time trying to find the man anyway, but he's pursued by two Crime Dudes that want the message being carried. By gathering clues he finds out that first, the man is still alive, then that he's still in the country, then the city, then the exact location of the man. Then, finally, he reaches the man. And gets captured by Crime Dudes, who take his message, see it's "worth nothing" and throw the pigeon in a cage and the letter in the trash. It all seems hopeless, and the The Power Of Friendship, the seagull digs through the trash for the note, the Jackdaw opens the cage, and the other animal distracts the Crime Dudes. The birds say a heartfelt goodbye before the pigeon finally does make it to the man. The pigeon lands in the windowsill, it's a deep, emotional moment, where the man takes the note from the pigeon, reads it... and the woman he proposed to said yes!! The epilogue shows the pigeon carrying the rings to married couple, with the other three main characters standing off to the sidelines, and it ends with a big reunion ❤️

If you aren’t too busy, I’ve noticed that you draw Wilson’s arms fading to black towards the hands - most other people interpret Wilson to have black gloves or whatnot, but you just straight up draw him with little black claws. So do you have headcanons related to why they’re like that in your style? Like maybe an experiment gone wrong? Thanks in advance! 💜

its a big combination of these three. i think its so fun that wilson is one of the only in-game sprites with black arms.

in another life i could have been a 'gloves guy' but when i think about it, men didnt wear elbow length gloves in that period of time.
