(I only really have headcanons for 2012 Leo, so I'm sorry if you wanted more broad Leo headcanons-! 😭👍)

• This one feels pretty canon, but I'd like to think Leo's a complete hypocrite of a driver- LMAO / If he's trying to set a good example for April or Mikey, he'll take all the safe precautions and walk them through general "rules" (more or less) when driving the Shellraiser or even the Party Wagon ! But outside of that, he's making illegal U-turns or driving over solid lines to pass someone who's pissing him off cause they're moving too slow- LMAO (Which is even more hilarious to me because I know his ass critiques Casey all the time for some things-)

• Building on Leo and Mikey being professional rage baiters, I can absolutely see Leo engaging with things like Ouija boards or going into (allegedly) haunted just to get reaction on his siblings- Particularly Raph ! I just think he'd enjoy freaking the others out sometimes-!

• Obviously Leo would try to hide this when out of missions / patrols with his team, but I'd like to think whenever he also gets board during a stake out he'd watch people TVs through their windows ! Like if a game was on or maybe the reality TV that apartment had on caught his eye ! Forget about it if they're watching, "Space Heroes"- LMAO

• This is one of my favorite headcanons for 2012 Leo !! I love envisioning Leo as Jerma985 clips ! Jerma is both awkward and charismatic at the same time, and that encapsulates Leo perfectly to me ! You cannot tell me Leo wouldn't have the same obscure sense of humor to him- 😭✨ (The one where Jerma's playing Hitman VR and starts panicking when the characters around him start running just feels like a reaction Leo would have- LMAO)

• I know we didn't get to see her in the series, but if Leo had gotten to meet Casey's younger sister, I have no doubt in my mind that he wouldn't treat her like his own- I need more "Leo and Casey being the eldest siblings" solidarity between them !!

• I think Leo would never listen to music or audio or any kind through headphones- He's always gonna play it on speaker-! I think this would primarily stem from being uncomfortable with his hearing being obstructed in any way (Ninja training stuff, you know?). I also think he's envious that Mikey is capable of having a good sense of his surroundings despite wearing them- Lmao

Personally, I feel like they would be Brains and Brawn in a different font !

Some things I can see them bonding over is dangerous science / chemical warfare ! Karai likes to be informed about things not only harmful to herself but to otherwise (Always liking the upper hand-), and I think despite her motives Donnie would be happy to blabber on about his interests ! I also like to think Karai has a very strategic mind, which yes is comparable to Leo, but I think it compliments Donnie too ! Maybe she has a grasp on architectural structuring Donnie hadn't realized, which makes discussing plans of attack or recon missions easier to do with her !

I also think she would humor Donnie more than the rest of his siblings (Mikey being a possible exception-) when he gets enamored with creature or technology they've yet to see before, like his fascination with the Spy Roach mutation or the Kraang initial Dimensional portal from Season 1 ! We see Karai seek out an understanding of her adversaries many times in the show, so I don't think this would be any different from that !

Personality wise though, I think Karai would find her nerdy younger brother adorable while Donnie would be secretly excited to be accepted by a Sister who's so effortless nonchalant ! 😌✨

Honestly too many- I can come up with all kinds of random shit for them-! 😭 Lmao

My personal favorites would probably be Winnifred, Florence, Keyes, Dolly and Arma ! I loved talking to them / would go out of my way to do so- LMAO

If I were to give each 2012 character of the main cast one dateable (Because there are way too many- LMAO), I'd say:

Leo: Beau (I think she'd remind him of Captain Ryan a little bit !)

Donnie: Farya (I think he'd find her study guide progression cute !)

Raph: Dante (Something about Dante reminds me of Raph- Not sure why? Lmao)

Mikey: Mateo (Honestly any of the super laid back dateables would mesh well with Mikey I think ! But Mateo is so adorable, like-)

Karai: Bathsheba (I think she would remind her of Shinigami + I headcanon Shini being similar in personality- 🫶)

April: Florence (I think April would resonate with her !)

Casey: Shelly (Honestly Rod and Miranda would've worked well too- But I said only one, so- 😔 Lmao)

Oh for sure ! He would be in much disbelief that April remotely felt that way towards him-! 😭👍

I honestly see them having this sort of unspoken relationship for a while, where they do things like stay close to one another or rest their heads together sometimes without having a relationship between acknowledged officially-! I think for a while, that would be comfortable for Raph. Not calling April his girlfriend + Him her boyfriend, but being aware that something is going on between them, you know?

Eventually though, most likely in a time of tension and stress from the events happening around them, I think the subject would be brought up- Not in the best way either,, Like Raph feeling suffocated by his own issues and telling April they aren't together so she should stop looking for him all the time (Referring to the way the writers had April run to Donnie every time she wasn't okay-). Of course, April wouldn't take that well, and I'm sure they would argue about it-! I think that's how they would finally be honest about what they are to one another-

I think its interesting how they're very similar in their temperament, but also have different core personalities under their short fuses (#middlechildren, am I right?).

My go to answer for this question would probably be the two validating one another the most-! I love them having such a deep understanding of one another despite how it might appear to others on the surface !

Examples of this (for me) would be Raph getting people off Donnie's back when he's stressed instead of adding onto it like he did canonically, like when Donnie was doing his best to defuse the mutagen bomb in, "Gauntlet" or when he was trying to remember where he recognized the symbol for the Kraang in, "TCRI" ! Or Donnie doing his best to help Raph through his entomophobia (Fear of bugs-) through informing him about what they are and aren't capable of, hoping him having a better understanding of them would ease his phobia a bit-! Or Raph having some kind of a heart of heart with Donnie about romance after he meets Y'gthba ("Mona Lisa") for the first time, building a safer space for Donnie to both open up about his feelings towards April while being more receptive to any criticism Raph (And everyone for that matter-) might have about how he goes about expressing that to her-

I'm also a firm believer that Raph would help Donnie with his inventions from time to time ! I don't see him staying for the whole process, but I think he would want to help Donnie out if he thinks he'll hurt himself doing whatever he's doing alone- Very much, "Let your strongest sibling help you out" type of vibe !

There's also the concept of Donnie being Raph's voice of reason a lot of the time, which we somewhat see in the show I suppose ! I think the way Donnie took control of the situation when Raph panicked in, "New Girl In Town" really showcased that type of dynamic between them for me ! I think they should both lean on each other when they're shutting down,, Raph technically did this in my favorite Donnie centric episode of the show, *Revenge of the Triceratons" !

As far as headcanons go, let me see if I can come up with some I haven't shared !

• 2012 Raph headcanons:

If the Turtles were familiar with real life films, I think one of his all time favorite superhero movies would be, "The Incredibles" ! I feel he can appreciate its nuance and how it depicts its characters in such a realistic way ! (Aka, he likes the drama- LMAO ) || I think he'd be the sibling + friend who wants to just relax at the hotel when on vacation instead of exploring the whole time- Like, he's for real just chillin' in the spa or something ! I'm not saying he never indulges just like everyone else, but I also think he can appreciate the breather, you know? || I think it would be cute for Raph and Leo to explore abandoned buildings in their free time, imitating documenters / paranormal hunters / or just YouTubers in general the entire time- LMAO || That Raph actually enjoys wearing clothes, despite not needing them in the same way humans do ! He likes to express himself- 😌✨ || In the context of them being able to live normal lives as mutants, I think Raph would be the first one to get his driver's license at 16 ! Leo would've already been an experienced driver, but he definitely dragged his feet getting a legitimate license-! LMAO || Raph's echoing Mikey's vocal stims all the time ! This basically feels canon, but I'm including it anyway- I think April would find it really adorable every time they're alone and Raph would mindlessly say small phrases Mikey would usually say ! (Like, if Mikey started saying, "McFreaking" all the time, Raph would absolutely start saying it at some point too- LMAO)

• 2012 April headcanons:

I think April should have a really great relationship with Dr. Rockwell, considering he's the only other living creature on Earth that shares similar psychic abilities as her ! I think a lot of her improvements in this field should've stemmed from her time spent with him ! Sure, he uses Kraang enchantments, but he also understands these abilities on a much more fundamental level than any other character in the series- Also April should've gotten enhancements too, tf? LMAO || I think April should be in this middle ground (Or maybe a fence sitter??) of being both a rage baiter and someone who can easily be rage baited ! It truly depends on the situation- She's situational ! Lmao || I can see April being immune to motion sickness, given her Utrom DNA ! So things like floating in the vastness of space, sailing in the middle of the ocean, riding aircrafts at high altitudes, etc. don't really affect her ! || If someone's feeling an extremely intense emotion around April, she can genuinely hear their thoughts ! I'd like to think she could actually hear the thoughts of Raph, Karai (When she's truly furious-), and Saki / Shredder's thoughts the most out of every character in the show ! || I think April would be more of a roller skate girly than a roller blade or skateboard girly ! Casey and Mikey would be eager to teach her how, wanting to invite her on their skating hangouts ! (I might've shared this one before?) || That her favorite type of candy is sour ! I could see her enjoying Sourpatch gummies or Warheads or something like that !

• 2012 Raphril headcanons (Can be read both platonically or romantically !):
