Through the silence of the gloomy tunnel, the footsteps of boots crushing dry leaves and flowers could be heard. They woke up in a spot with a single ray of light, a spot one wanted to reach to feel it's warmth, gave at least some life to a small meadow of flowers.

The Soldier, a child with dark inky hair and a gray uniform, with cracked mask and fluffy feather decorating their hat, a musket, powered by their determination at ready. The only colorful detail was their scarlet medal on their chest. They didn't remember why they earned it or when; they simply continued on their way.

Walking further toward the exit of this small space, a depressing sight unfolded before their eyes: in the very distance were marble buildings, seemingly about to crumble into ruins in the blink of an eye. However, opposite them, across a wide field soaked in the blood of battle, there were the red brick walls built around a castle shrouded in white thick fog; trampled fields, burnt forests, and not even water all around. The entire continent was surrounded by a dense, black mass, absorbing all light. The clouds were hiding the sun and moon, making it look more miserable.

But despite this, it brought...peace to the Soldier's heart; for them, it seemed like nostalgia. For a house that no longer exists, for family they no longer have, and for a voice that faded in their distant memories.
