What’s your favourite part of the Legendarium that was abandoned, discarded or otherwise not considered strictly canon? It can be a character, timeline or event or even something more abstract like a name change or just a line!

Ancalagon is an anomaly. Far too large to live in any meaningful way. He was born to die in the War of Wrath and to take as much of the world with him as he could.

He is created from thousands of parts. He is erratic, fragmented. He is constantly in agony.

Dozens, perhaps hundreds died in his development. Elven thralls who were forced to aid in and die for the creation of a weapon meant to destroy their homes and people. Those some of his parts came from. Those who simply got too close.

Bones fracture when his wings expand, acrid blood falls from the sky, staining the rocks of Thangorodrim, long before Eärendil lands a single wound to him

Babes, I don't know how to tell you this, but between the beginning of the Great Indefinite Hiatus of 1989 and the announcement of the 1996 TV Movie in 1995, the sentiment above is uncomfortably close to the line WE were fed.

For years, they told us that Doctor Who wasn't cancelled, but that it was instead "not commissioned for a new season at this time." They told us repeatedly between 1990-95 that if Doctor Who were to return, it would have to be as a co-production between the BBC and an outside entity.

There were a few interested parties during those years, but attempts to relaunch went into Development Hell for years.

We got one TV Movie that bombed in America and that British fandom regarded as "The American Abomination" for a decade. And the show went back into Limbo of Development Hell until 2003.

people are going to look back on this and ask, why were there only 21 episodes before an indefinite hiatus?

You do not get to profit, financially or attention wise or another way, off of a *potentially* queer jew whilst we are banned from pride events.

We do not know if she was questioning her sexuality but ultimately straight or if she was actually queer because she was killed for the crime of existing as a jew before she could come out. Queer rights obviously matter. Anne Franke is not the person you should be using.

You need to protect alive queer jews. You need to love all jews, not just the dead ones.
