Marinette Dupain Cheng aka Ladybug Redesign +Rewrite for my AU (still unnamed bc I’m trying not to copy someone else-)please give me ideas my brain is fried rn 🥲 Her powers are relatively the same (everyone also gets one extra power Ladybug has 3 I just ran out of space to write that lol 🤦) They are also in University because I feel it makes a thousand more sense than having 13-15 year olds fighting crime and stuff so they are all 19-20 years old. I’m also taking elements from the movie with Marinette finding her magical earrings in a old tea house (home of the guardian of the miraculous ) as usual Mari behavior she freaks tf out and worries about being a good hero to all of Paris, at least until she meets Cat Noir trying to stop an akuma.

Adrien Agreste aka Cat Noir, son of famous fashion designer Gabriel Agresté and actress Emily De Vanially (idk what the last was lol-) they were a lively family, Adrien being their sunshine through the cloudy skies. That happiest days were gone when Adrien’s mother suddenly grew ill and sadly didn’t survive, succumbing to the illness given thanks to the Peafowl Miraculous at such a young age, only when Adrien was about 8 years old. (yes I am referring the Peacock as a Peafowl bc any other time I say it Insta and YT like to delete stuff 🤦 sooooo yeah Peafowl). Without Emily, the Agreste household was silent. Gabriel pushed himself more into work than spending time with his own son, leaving his secretary and bodyguard to keep him safe. Many years go by, Adrien is homeschooled throughout his Middle and High School years. It was eventually decided that Adrien would go to The American University of Paris (AUP) (where everyone is going! Yes this is a real place I did research beforehand) he is on the undecided side of things as there is many Majors to choose from. But he has his friends to help him out with that. It’s not long before during his break, a black cat walks on up to him and uh….pukes out a glowing ring. He picks it up and out comes Plagg, kwami of destruction. Just as they got to know each other, a giant akuma rock monster is destroying part of Paris, with help from his kwami friend he powers up and becomes Cat Noir, a much more confident and punny hero.
