The fact that Tori reveals herself to Vox (and therefore to Velvette and Valentino) in that way throws everything off course. Vox, whose mood swings from angry to astonished to indignant to touched and angry again, he wil change his plans because he wants to spend time with his daughter.

Alastor is proud that his little girl was able to reach him without any help, angry at everyone for not taking good care of Tori and at himself for forgetting to explain his plan to Tori and tell her to stay with Husk until further notice, and dismayed because now, with his daughter in the equation, he's not sure how to proceed with his plans.

Meanwhile, back at the hotel, everyone is panicking because they can't find Tori (they realized this after two hours when it was Tori's snack time). While Charlie is emotionally collapsing, Vaggi and the others are trying to find her.

Ironically, Tori's presence at that point in the plot was the best thing that could have happened to Charlie and everyone else, because the situation is starting to de-escalate now that Vox has something else to focus on: spending time with his daughter and convincing Alastor and Tori to stay of their own free will.

Vox is both the most stable and unstable he’s ever been. Thankfully, he also steps the fuck up as a dad pretty easily and quickly for Tori’s sake - even if she all she wants is Alastor to be let go. Tori tried to deal and barter, which is extremely endearing to Vox, but no dice. He ain’t letting either of them go lmao.

Alastor is not a happy camper. He’s going to have some words with Husk when he gets back. His fawn was supposed to be protected and watched! Still, he’s secretly proud of Tori for her ingenuity in breaking in and her cleverness in her efforts to barter with Vox. It doesn’t work, but A+ for effort.

(An even more secret part of him feels moved that his fawn went through all this effort to save him. He knew she loved him, of course, but he didn’t realize that she loved him so much that she overcame her shyness and fear to break into the Vee Tower of all places. Especially after the fight they had recently.)

Alastor might be less than amused by Vox knowing about Tori’s existence, but he’s convinced that he could take back control over the situation. (He won’t.)

You KNOW the Hazbin Crew are panicking. But they know where Tori is because (unlike her Papa) she left a note specifying her plans and apologizing to everyone. She pretty much did her version of a “I’m running away from home” except she’s successful. They’d stage a rescue mission that is significantly less successful than Tori’s plan.

So, I was reading your latest ask about Tori, the one where season 1 stays on track and Alastor tricks Vox into donating his magic without revealing why he wants such a donation. And little things just kept occurring to me about what that chain of events would require.

Like Tori not encountering the spy watch, which in turn either requires her to not have a nightmare that night or to deal with it differently, perhaps by trying to get back to sleep on her own somehow. (Or maybe getting up and staying awake for about 20 minutes so she doesn’t fall back into the nightmare when she goes back to sleep. It actually works, by the way, so long as you can keep your body from waking up too much to make it difficult to get back to sleep. Actually getting out of the bed can help keep you from falling back asleep too soon, or forcing yourself to lie awake until you’re not risking the nightmare.) Or Alastor reaching her and the watch sooner. And Tori experiencing the events of the final extermination, with whatever that involves. (Is she evacuated to Cannibal Town and her Aunt Rosie ahead of the battle? Or stuck in the hotel when it’s literally cut in two? I tend to think option one, if only because Alastor is unwilling to risk her any more than he has to and probably also doesn’t want Vox to catch her on camera.) And Tori still living in the hotel with its new surge of guests at the beginning of season 2. How would that go, I wonder? Would Alastor introduce her to the other guests, or ask the core original staff to keep their mouths shut (possibly binding them with a deal so they couldn’t give her existence away, thus explaining why Vox can’t get it out of Angel)? And with her dad increasingly vulnerable?

And watching her dad “quitting” after that argument with Lucifer. Which, actually, I’m the most curious about - if he quits, wouldn’t he say they were getting ready to move out? Or maybe he tells her to start packing while he goes and “arranges their next living arrangements”, i.e. has a chat with Rosie without her there? Would she just be - stuck at the hotel, with Husk and Nifty’s last orders being to protect her and keep her safely hidden, and Tori herself instructed to wait there until Alastor could come pick her up? Only to see the broadcast? Seriously, I’m curious. Thoughts please?

Vox going along with the first deal without thinking but it’s fine, he gets this olive branch to be with Alastor on neutral grounds and the magic he demand vox hand over is quite a lot but nothing he can’t get back.

And then Alastor ask they meet in person for this, continuously, in neutral grounds as long as he agrees not to hurt or go after whoever it is he’s bringing with him. The multiple layers of protection for whoever she is feels a bit excessive so probably not Rosie, maybe it’s Mimzy acting as a mediator and that’s why Alastor is worried for her.

He agrees and a few days later they meet up in a cafe or something (”why are you so against going to a bar? We’re all adults here, don’t give me that look.”)

And there’s just. A tiny Alastor. With his eyes. And his magic has been going to her this whole time. And he can’t even speak with her without Al stopping him. And there are so many layers to this deal he can’t even see her outside of this. He doesn’t even get to know his daughters name that first time. His end of season two crashout ain’t got nothing on this.

(I imagine the one thing Alastor didn’t account for was probably Tori wanting to go to Vox on her own after knowing who her other parent was)

Sorry for the wait, this answer ended up being a lot longer than I expected. This was a pretty fun scenario to read from my inbox and to expand on!

Maybe someone links her conception with Lilith's absence and concludes that only the strongest sinner in Hell can produce children, which would be a really irritating way for Alastor's power to be recognized.

Some theories:

Mpreg: the classic. Either through magic (which isn't possible but many non magic practicers are ignorant about that) or because Alastor is trans (another theory linked to this theory).

Science. Vox somehow found a way to manufacture a whole ass child because he can't express his psychosexual obsession with Alastor normally. Alastor found out and snatched the child away to raise by himself.

A mix of both. Tori isn't Vox's child at all. She's Alastor's clone.

While Alastor would have preferred that Tori took to eating Sinner Meat as it was more convenient (they were in Cannibal Town, after all), he also wanted her to like it on her own terms. He didn’t want to force her to eat it, oh no. That would only sour the experience and drive her to hate it out of spite no matter how much she actually liked it! (That would be Alastor’s reaction, the brat.) So, her choice mattered. Rosie respected Alastor’s (and Tori’s) decision. The swap was done carelessly by an unnamed cannibal server, most likely because they didn’t think that any mix up would matter as the dish was fundamentally the same.

Obviously, they were wrong.

Even though this ask didn't specify, I recognize this username from my "Child of Divorce" comment section asking the same question (sans the request for spoilers which I will pass on answering), so I'll assume that this is the fic we're talking about.

You might not mean to, but your ask, paired with your comment on AO3, comes off as a bit rude and pushy. I understand and appreciate the excitement that readers have on seeing what's next for this fic, but the way you haven't waited for me to properly reply the first time you asked makes me feel like you're prioritizing getting quick answers and updates over respecting my own pace and time.

But you felt like this question was important enough to ask twice, so I'll answer: I have no idea. I don't have a set schedule when updating my fics. I just write and post the chapter after I'm done. This isn't a research paper or a manuscript I need to turn in on time to get a good grade or a paycheck. This is a hobby. Something that I do for fun.

also i don't know why but since Alex is said to be like an MP3 i'm just imagining his style of clothing would be like y2k fashion scene and the funny reactions of Vox and Alastor while Tori and Allie are being supportive

In the Twin Fawn AU, Tori and Allie's brother's naming would go two ways depending on who's carrying him: If it's Vox, he'd still be Alexander (cause he's a simp); If it's Alastor, he'd be named "Evander" (for less simpy reasons).

So, the brother would either be another "Al" (Alex) or another "V" (Van).

As for sibling dynamics, the twins would step up on being their little brother's guardians. They'd keep him company, read to him, help him dress up, and talk to him. They'd also worry about him endlessly since he isn't an isekai baby (just to give them a bit more ✨stress✨). To the outsiders POV, they're just very thoughtful and caring older sisters who bring him everywhere with them (A trusty wagon makes this very possible) and plays with him (They try to kickstart teaching him how to manage himself through tea parties - how to eat - and dress up - how to put on clothes. They're working on language through storytime and gossip.)

Alex/Van is a quiet baby and everyone assumes that he's mute until his earphones (wired, not wireless) grows in along with his antlers (which starts when he hits 13-14). In the meantime, he's taught sign language. He still uses it even after Vox makes him a speaker.

It is weird that she could just tell that Pentious brought in something bad, especially if she never demonstrates that ability again. But if there was any trace of Vox's magic on that thing, maybe it was just enough that her body realized she was HUNGRY, except she wouldn't have context for it- she'd just know that she felt bad!

She is super avoidant of her dad's friends, but she is a) noted to be shy, b) verbally expresses she wants her dad's attention to herself, c) has a papa who has repeatedly warned her about charming fake friends who just want to use you, and d) has repeatedly seen her dad's friends blow him off weekend after weekend. If they don't want to see her, she doesn't want to see them either. Which is a horrible setup for the world's worst first impression.

Thanks! One nice thing about being born is Hell and being the only Hellborn with Sinner parents (and both male Sinner parents nonetheless!) is that she can set the precedent. Has "bad feelings" that turn out to be valid in the future? Must be a passive skill involving technology knowing her parents. Alternatively, due to her upbringing, Victoire could very well have a fifth sense for these things, especially with how jumpy and cautious she is.

And you're completely on the money about all the "excuses" Victoire uses to shield herself from meeting the other Vees before she was ready.
