That is to say, there is a certain subset of gamerbro who interacts so rarely with real women, that his primary touchstone for how women look is fiction: often video games and anime. So when a video game woman looks too realistic--too close to having traits that one might find in real flesh and blood women--this is foreign to them. This is unattractive. They have been jacking it to hentai and blender animation porn for too many years, and have inadvertently conditioned themselves to only be sexually aroused by the exaggerated cartoonish traits of animated women.

Imagine a Klingon ship having a cat that protects them from tribbles & vermin. They have to get the cat from a shelter run by humans and they’re like “This is the honorable Mr. Chonks”.

“Yes, our ship also has an earth feline. Her name is Carrot and she fights like a warrior.”

There’s absolutely a Klingon out there who lost an eye to a feral cat that he then adopted.

Klingons who go “pspspspsps” to get the Ship Cat to come hang out during break.

Orange Ship Cat that gets lost in the jeffires tubes and Klingon whose sole job is to go fetch the orange cat. He acts like he hates his job but he actually really adores his feline co-worker so much.

Klingon that always hands things to the Ship Cat so it can sniff it.

Klingon that intentionally grabs boxes to enrich Ship Cat’s little life. Sometimes they get multiple boxes and the crew bets on which box will be deemed “best box” by their fluffy little warrior.

Klingon that starts his work shift saying “Qapla'!” to Ship Cat who meows in return.

This might require tribbles to be more of a menace than they generally are, but given the exponential reproductive effects of tribbles, it may well be that your average tribble infestation is several hundred of them before you catch sight of one, and a pride of Earthcats on the ship means every trip to port results in on average seventy to one hundred eighty tribbles at time of detection and that's mad play time for a group of twenty to fifty cats.

Bonus points if they program the comm system to include the cats, and the cats wear tiny comm collars programmed to send a message to all hands (all paws?) when it hears the specific meow that means "tribble spotted." They are all alert coming into port because they know it will soon be Tribble Hunt time and as soon as the doors close and they take off they are all on the prowl to find the first nest of tribbles.

But paranormal researchers and amateur sleuths believe records were altered and destroyed to protect the exact location where the building once stood, so its unique paranormal attributes could never again be exploited for the terrifying evils which once occurred there; or perhaps, more sinisterly, to conceal the secrets of whichever new building now stands on its plot…

Being abused at home, bullied at school and lost in the world, the library and all the books I could escape to the most amazing worlds, kept me alive!

I would walk to the library, and spend all day, from 10 am to 9 pm reading there!! I got special awards for how many books I read, I wrote little blurbs on why i loved the books (probably why I love to BETA and do ARCs)

As a 50 year old woman, the library offers me so much. Digital art pads to borrow, 3D printing, book clubs that are face to face (yeah, the introvert likes face to face because a moderator will stomp on anyone getting snarky)

New books in LARGE PRINT! I’m visually challenged and as much as I love my kindle, The feel of a real book in my hands will always be a beloved feeling!
