Alexandria's gotta be in full Tournament Mode by now, so I like to imagine her juuuuust offscreen in every scene, shouting furiously at the RSA boys to Chin Up and Gird Those Loins and Stiffen Those Upper Lips! if you don't know her then she probably sounds like a weirdly Enid Blyton-esque drill instructor, but they all know that actually she's being very supportive and encouraging (and of course Dorothy is there to encourage her :)

EDIT okay so it's not fandom's fault but the translation's. he literally screams about wanting to be hit in english. wildest difference between the characterization so far, he literally says opposing things at times:

ENG: "Look at you getting all judgey-wudgey. Wanna hit me? Go on! Smash my face, break my fingers! YES! Give me that rush, feed me! Yesssssssssssss! What? You won’t hit me? Don't feel the urge? <...> At least we're all mad here..." - actually begs for it, weird baby-talk quirk, screams in pleasure

the reason i find genderbending to be such a fun and interesting challenge is because, if you actually want to be good at it and put thought into it, you have to really consider the character’s canon gender expression and think about what it means to them and how it reflects in their outward appearance and presentation.

is this male character buff because he likes to work out / be strong, or does he aspire to achieve conventional heteronormative male beauty?

is this female character a tomboy because she likes to express herself in a more masculine way, or is she doing it to fight gender norms?

the answers to those questions should produce very different designs!

this website loves to say that gender is a spectrum, but sometimes i genuinely wonder if people actually understand what that means.
