Beloved friends and mutuals here on this gorgeous, dusky blue webbed site, hello. I'm glad to find not too much changes on here in between my sporadic visits...

I'm still here. Mostly. Life's still doing a heckin overwhelm on me, but I'm pushing through. Hopefully I've bought myself some more time by sadly having to take some time off from the forestry and timber framing work until the Autumn. I can focus more on Patreon and on my own health, which will be nice, (got diagnosed with coeliac last year and I'm having other food allergies pop up now that are bad enough to need an epipen, which is... un fun), though it means I don't get to be in the little magical woodland while it's still roasting everywhere outside (or literally on fire. We've had a lot of fires here in the UK this year and some have been very near me). I was not built for 31C. My study is currently showing 30, which... yay.
Also bike stuff is continuing, and I hit 10k followers on Instagram recently, which is fun, I guess(?), though I'm not sure what to do with that really. It's just... a thing that happened. Anyway, I went moto-camping for the first time this year, went to a massive bike festival in June, tried out a Harley for fun (it wasn't actually all that fun, sorry), and went enduro riding (dirt biking, and lots of fun), which may have been what inspired a new werewolf character (see below).
So... how about some actual 'monster stuff' updates please? You know, for the 'monster romance' blog?
Current WIPs cooking away on the hob are as follows:
The Dragon Priest x Deathlord x f. mage story is getting way way out of hand now. Like... it's gonna be small novel length when it's done. There's a whole cast of rogues and friends who keep getting their own scenes and story beats, so that's nice.
If you wanna read Chapter One as a WIP early release, you can find it **for free** here on Patreon for free members and up. (You have to be a free member I think, but you don't have to pay. Future smutty chapters will sadly be behind the paywall of the lowest tier due to Patreon's 18+ policy.)
The Scrivener doc says the whole thing is at 41,232 words right now, and I'm not even halfway through the story. I've got so much gosh-darned story left to put in my story...
I recently also posted a chapter of another Willow Creek Werewolves Universe story with a Deaf m. werewolf (who's also a dirtbiker) x f. character (3rd person POV).
I was *delighted* when someone in the comments on Patreon said specifically that they wanted to gnaw on him because I deliberately designed him to be a very gnawable-on lad. He's cheeky and lean and has a sassy little walk with his hips and he's got a kind of mullet but he's also a Soft Boi at times.
Hopefully his one will be a short-ish one (you know me though. They all turn into multi-chapter behemoths).
I'm also working on Caleb and Maeve's story ((the BIG boi with a stutter from Ben and Tanner's story) m. werewolf x f. human, also 3rd person POV).
That one won't go up until I've written all of it at least in a first draft. It's become really dear to my heart and I want to get it all Just Right in my head before I start sharing. Caleb is my new Blorbo tbh and he's up there with Lein for fav OCs who live rent free in my head. iykyk.
Lastly, because it's Taurgust (August), this month's Patreon-only/exclusive will be a minotaur. The monthly exclusives tend to go up towards the end of the month on Patreon, so keep an eye out for that.
I feel like that's mostly it for updates worth sharing. I've usually always got stuff simmering away in the background, but I'm trying not to work on tooooo many things at once or put too much pressure on myself by saying 'yeah I'll work on that for you' and then... not being able to deliver (*cough cough, Laces for a Lady, cough cough*).
Background simmerings include (but not limited to): m/m dragon riders story, m/m vampire mafia story, m/m werewolf x dhampir story, m/f werewolf x plus sized f. character, m/f demon(ish, it's complicated - he merges with a demon by accident) x f. character set in Cambridge, UK, Laces for a Lady (I'm so so so so sorry to everyone who's a massive fan of that. I really need to get my act together with that one), Footsteps in the Snow (need to finish that cos Lein is referenced in the new Dragon Priest one ffs!), and a few more...
Anyway, hi, hope you still remember me, and I'm still quite active on Patreon, but less so on here due to AI scraping still plaguing the internet... Trying to change that though because I really do miss the sense of community and unhinged (/affectionate) vibes that exist only here in the hazy blue twilight zone of Tumblr.
