Nonbinary people and lesbians who take t are cool as hell and I'm proud of them for taking steps in their transition that are frowned upon! Anyone who doesn't think they should can whine all they want, but it doesn't change the fact that nb people and lesbians on t are super valid and gorgeous.
I really wish that the mogai tag were a safer place for actual mogai people. If you're an actual mogai/anti transmed/lgbt positivity blog or safe space please do interact with this post <3
Unpopular opinion ig but age of consent should be moved to twenty and yes this is mostly because if I see one more crusty ass man in his late twenties pursuing a 17/18yo again Iām going to go crazy actually
OP are you really saying that we should intrude upon the sexual rights of hundreds of thousands of people ages 18 and 19 simply because you donāt like it when people of those ages are in completely legal relationships with older individuals
yep :) bc 30 yr olds counting down the days until a teenager turns legal is creepy af :))
I mean, I wouldn't say change the age of consent so much as putting a certain limit on how large of an age gap there can be between young adults? If that makes any sense.
How many times we gotta tell yall it's {noun} of color not POC {noun}
Yes this is ok for white people to rb
Some people don't know how to use acronyms and abbreviations.
POC {noun} is a perfectly correct and useful way to articulate things and you're just splitting hairs for no reason.
no. no itās really not
Not to be rude but why? This seems like it's really unnessecary to actively correct people.
poc have been trying to tell people forever how to properly use the term poc and just dismissing our efforts like bobo up there makes it seem like they donāt care about what poc say
I've never really seen anyone talk about it outside of right now and I don't think it's really dismissive so much as just ease of language, if that makes sense?
i mean. hopping onto a post made by a black person to essentially say theyāre wrong and just splitting hairs is pretty dismissive. besides it shouldnāt be about ease of language if the way theyāre saying it doesnāt make any sense
I mean, it didn't really read to me as dismissive so much as just having a contradictory opinion? And what do you mean by it not making any sense?
well poc isnāt an adjective, so it wouldnāt make sense to put it in front of a noun like men, women, people, characters, etc. poc in itself is a noun, and it stands for person of colour. so the first letter would need to change if you were talking about a specific group, aka woc/moc (women/men of colour) etc. instead of just adding the group to the end, bc then it would be person of colour women/men/people.
some of y'all REALLY gotta start learning to stay in your own lane.

if you canāt support lesbians or the idea of being a lesbian without reminding everyone that we can be bad people you are a homophobe
honestly itās like one of the things that bother me the most. why even bother reblogging a positivity post for lesbians if youāre going to end it with āexcept for the bad onesā? do you add that particular disclaimer to every group you support or do you only associate us with being horrible people?
Iām literally not saying you have to support bad people im saying you donāt need to act like lesbians are particularly bad and you donāt need to add a disclaimer that you only support the good ones because youāre supporting lesbianism not every attribute every lesbian has
It's okay to like being trans.
It's okay to like finding new words and labels to describe yourself.
It's okay to love all of your body, even if other people think you shouldn't like certain parts.
It's okay tto dress how you like, no matter how people try to bring you down about it.
It's okay to be trans in a way that other people may not like, because in the end, it isn't about them. It's your body, your life and your journey. I hope it treats you well.
Its also okay to not want to be cis!
You dont have to pander everything about you to cis people!
happy international womens day, chelsea manning is being held in federal jail for an unspecified amount of time again
one year reminder of this. nothing has changed. she owes hundreds of thousands in fines. nothing happy about it
I realized that my carrd says pro cringe culture. Not as in pro making fun of kids, pro things considered cringey
In honor of International Womens Day,Ā here is a thread of women of color, queer women of color and trans women of color who deserve to be celebrated today for their accomplishments:
Up first: Sylvia Rivera who is a Latina trans activist, helped create STAR with Marsha P Johnson. She was a founding member of the Gay Liberation Front and the Gay Activists Alliance. She is a pioneer of trans rights!! ā¤ļø
Bisexual Mexican artist Frida Kahlo spoke out about being disabled after a bus accident. Her self-portraits comment on the female form and utilize traditional Mexican themes and colors!
Kara Walker is a Black artist who creates these very powerful silhouettes highlighting race and scenerios of our past in slavery. She creates many other works as well, but those are my personal favorite. Iāve seen them in person!
Katherine Johnson who is represented in the movie āHidden Figuresā, calculated the precise trajectories that would let Apollo 11 land on the moon in 1969. She was a very talented mathematician. In 2015, President Barack Obama awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Malala Yousafzai is a prominent figure in our world. Every day she fights to ensure all girls receive 12 years of free, safe, quality education. She is also the youngest Nobel Prize recipient. Even after the gunman incident, her voice never stayed quiet.
Rosa Parks of course. She was a leader in the local NAACP and the civil rights movement, iconically refused to give up her seat. Her willingness to disobey the rule helped to spark the Montgomery boycott and other efforts to end segregation in America.
Marsha P. (āPay it No Mindā) Johnson was another pioneer in the trans movement. She helped created STAR with Sylvia Rivera. She was a drag queen, sex worker, and while her gender identity remains questioned in discourse, a lot of trans people claim her as one of their own.
Cecilia Chung, an Asian trans woman living with HIV, has spent her life fighting to end discrimination, stigma and violence across marginalized communities first as the former chair of the San Francisco Human Rights Commission and on the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS.
Of course Michelle Obama!! She has focused on social issues like education and healthy living. She was deeply committed to the well-being of our nation and to the future of its people, especially its children.
One more: Patsy Takemoto Mink devoted her life to advocating for gender equality and educational reform. She is the first woman of color and the first Asian-American woman elected to the House of Representatives. Title IX owes its existence largely to her efforts. So thank you to all of these amazing, intelligent, passionate, beautiful, inspiring women throughout history who are fucking badass. I just had to shed some appreciation to them for changing the world and resonating with me to continue follow in my great auntās activism for people of color.
Happy International Womenās Day to ALL my sisters and Iām with you in solidarity and power!

Someone responded to my Positivity tags post with multiple paragraphs and I read through it and was about to type a response but like. No. The post was full of shoddy reasoning and I do not wanna put myself through that.
What is even up with transmed inclus. Y'all agree that ace people belong in the community but no literal trans people? Like not to put ace people down but also what the fuck is up with that.
a better non-binary meme for yall
(now with 200% less alienation to transfem folks!)

Imagine being a big enough piece of shit to stalk Positivity tags to try and make fun of people who are literally just minding their business, not being mean to anyone, just existing.
Iām not sure if trenderdead is subgenre of trendercore yet, so I might just fuck around and make it one.
Anyway, trenderdead/trendermortis:
Trenderdead/trendermortis is a subgenre of trendercore/trenderpunk whose purpose remains generally the same as trendercore, however its aesthetic and form of expression is very different.
Trenderdead individuals express themselves through the aesthetic of all things dead, dying, and undead.
Corpses, zombies, blood, bones, skeletons, autopsy tables, severed heads/limbs, the act of decaying/rotting away, letting the earth reclaim your awful body, necromancy, candy gore, poison, gravestones, surgical tools, formaldehyde, and generalĀ ādisturbingā material are all things that can be associated with trenderdead.
Trans women and transfems are ABSOLUTELY allowed to partake in trenderdead/trendermortis, and if anyone tries to exclude them, I will personally make you feel fear (thatās the least aggressive threat I could think of, give me a break please).
Trenderdead is usually a cross between grungy vaporwave and grungy kind of scenecore type stuff. Grungy pastel also works. As long as you can incorporate that edgy, dark, disturbing aesthetic into it, then you can do it.
Aside from the aesthetic, trenderdead is often representative of being content with yourself and your situation, doing your own thing, loving your identity until the day you die, taking no shit, and generally just existing in the way you want to.
*Note: Trendermortis is an alternative name for trenderdead, in case that confused you.
:00 love this
