Anyways unlearning incorrect terminology is not easy but it’s not an excuse not to try or to tell poc it’s not that deep if you’re an ally.

If your knee jerk reaction is to say some fuck shit like “well skin color doesn’t matter 🤪” you’re missing the point of the post and you’re probably racist anyways. I’m not saying you have to use “(blank) of color” all the time but in the event that you do, this is how it’s supposed to be phrased.

I just saw someone say Angel dust is positive gay rep if u rlly think that as a gay man i have the right to throw flour in ur eyes and then u have to stay 10 miles away from me for the rest of our lives thanks.

i think white ppl, assume that every black person they meet is a.) cishet and b.) homophobic to the point where they deem our whole community as homophobic and leave us out of discussions of homophobia, transphobia, queerphobia, etc. 

also another stupid thing is how most exclusionists call asexuality a white thing, when they know good damn well that MOST ace people on tumblr are actually poc, specifically black ppl. so this tells me that most of y'all use the term “white’ or ’"white thing” as a weapon when ppl don’t agree with you are anything. like y'all grow tf up.

and i guess i wanna add that at the end of the day, someone being pan or asexual literally DOES NOT affect you. like it doesn’t hurt you, it doesn’t ruin your day or anything. pan and ace identities literally do NOTHING to exclusionists. This proves that y'all are a bunch of pressed people who get kicks out of harassing people on the internet just because you need….clout??

Always hated the mindset of asexuality being a ‘white thing’, cause that shit ways read as perpetuating stereotypes. Cause deadass the first ace person I ever talked to that taught me what asexuality was l, was a dark skinned black man. Like people really think it’s impossible for black people to not experience sexual attraction/desire sex cause black bodies are seen as inherently sexual.

Like Black LGBT people cannot get a break. People who have more than one identity cannot catch a break. Everywhere we turn we’re facing some bullshit from both/all sides. There’s a hypocrisy there I just can’t stand. But don’t you dare talk about something like homophobia in the black community or racism in the LGBT community or YOU’RE the demon. Not the people who fight for equality and tolerance when it comes to themselves but who perpetuate inequality and intolerance when it comes to others! Ugh. I hate it here.
