There's so many detransitioners now because the transgender identity is a product of social contagion. It's a trend and a very dangerous one at that.

That's why you're gonna see a whole lot of graphs like this. This is 18-to-24 year olds who identify as transgender or non-binary. You're gonna see an uptick up to 2022 and then it's downhill from there.

Here's another graph showing students that don't identify as male or female. Around 2020, this becomes super popular, uptick all the way through 2022 to 2023, where you see a massive downtrend.

If you're seeing a ton of your trans friends detransition right now, it's because they were manipulated by a super-dangerous social trend that could have left many of them with irreversible damage and has left many of them with irreversible damage.

I truly think we're gonna look back on this time in human history with a whole different set of eyes and a whole bunch of regret for what people were put through in the name of the transgender movement.

No, I am not trans because it's a trend. I'm estranged from my upper middle class family, and as a result, I now live on my own and poor. People don't make massive decisions like that just to hop on a stupid trend. Being transgender is a not a trend. Being transgender in a conservative place like Texas is especially not a trend. My decision to come out and transition was almost a decade in the making.

No, I am not a transmed. I was raised in a highly conservative environment, where it was believed that being transgender is caused by gender dysphoria, which is a mental illness. That belief was absolutely not useful for accepting transgender people into society. Instead, that belief was used as a reason to marginalize trans people, and sometimes even to send them to conversion therapy.

I was raised to be transphobic, and it wasn't until I started to learn ideas by people whom transmeds refer to as "transtrenders" that I finally started to overcome it, and eventually recognize my own moments of gender dysphoria and euphoria.

It genuinely amazes me that they think they come across as somehow more reasonable, legitimate, and more respectable than the broader community. I mean, maybe to the people that don’t follow the issue closely (which admittedly is a lot of people) they do, but I think the second that anyone decides to take a closer look at them, that veneer will fall away much sooner than they think it will. You don’t strengthen the argument for trans “rights”, you actively weaken them.
