one night, young justice get black out drunk together. tim, who thinks he’s hallucinating kon again, kisses him when they get a moment alone. tim, who is surprised that he can feel the hallucination this time. tim, who’s too drunk to realise that this is real, what they’re doing together right now, is real.

they end up spending the night together.

tim looks over at kon, memorising his features under the moonlight, reaches out and caresses his cheek.

“weird…you’re normally gone by now…”

kon, who thinks tim is talking about before his death, when they would share a bed and cuddle before kon goes back to his room, takes tim’s hand and presses a kiss to his knuckles.

bc why are they playing in my face, genuinely what was the directing decision that led to making Arthur constantly make heart eyes at merlin like i get that sometimes fans blow things out of proportion with some ship moments, but merthur is not one of those things because they just have them doing THE most gay shit with no reasonable explanation.

Tim *in tears*: WE DIDNT, we’re taking a break…

Tim: I KNOW! I’m betraying Bernard and it’s horrible because I still love him too…I don’t know what to do! *storms out of the living room*

Jason: We are just the best help in the world, aren’t we?

Damian: If he wanted emotional help, he should’ve went to Richard, but we truly can give him the best solution to his problem.

Jason *squints*: …how?

Damian: Well Connor is a very adventurous individual, especially in intimate endeavors and Bernard is somehow weirder than Gotham citizens, which I still don’t know how is possible.

Jason *very confused*: Okay…what does that have to do with anything?

Damian: Have you ever watched The Challengers before?

Jason: No, why am I supposed to?

Damian: Jason…Tim has two hands.

First is the obvious contrast in nourishment: Peeta's family subsists on stale baked goods, while Katniss's family relies on game. To Peeta, Katniss's game is a luxury; to Katniss, his baked goods are a luxury.

Then comes what they provide in terms of art. They’re two of the few main characters who each have a talent associated with the arts: singing and drawing/painting. More importantly, those talents represent the kind of beauty the other lacks in their life. In Peeta's life at the bakery, beauty and appearances have a practical purpose with how pretty cakes and cookies sell. It's almost the inverse of Katniss's world: just as she says she has no use for beautiful things, he has no obvious use for music. Yet he falls in love with a voice that can make the birds listen. Likewise, Katniss falls in love with hands and arms that can create beauty.
