“And Yuji Itadori, Sukuna’s vessel.”

“Did Gojo have to introduce me like that?” Yuji groaned.

“My condolences,” you sincerely said, still feigning innocence.

“Oh thank you!” Yuji smiled at your politeness. “Not many people acknowledge how horrible it is to be the prison of someone as terrible as–”

“I wasn’t talking to you,” you interrupted him as you grabbed a strand of your hair, twirling the curl between your fingers, as the newly harnessed power surged through you. Your eyes bounced back to Yuji.

“I was talking to Sukuna. I’m pretty sure I’d rather be stuck inside a tapeworm than some random teenage dude in his place. No offense!”

“Eh, what?” Everyone looked in surprise at you as you dropped the charade of the new polite student immediately.

Sukuna blinked in surprise, his red eyes widening. Then he threw his head back and started to laugh maniacally. Oh, he was right. You were interesting. Someone who would shake things up before his plans unfolded. Excellent!

He only had to know how to weave you into his web.
