𝙄𝙏 𝘼𝙄𝙉'𝙏 𝙊𝙑𝙀𝙍!

       ❛    sure, bill.    ❜

              The  flip  of  a  switch,   a  fistful  of  his  shirt,   that’s  all  it  takes  to  pull  the grin  from  his  lips.   Eyes  narrow,   brows  furrowed  when  he’s  jerked  forward    -    his  own  hand  raises  in  retaliation  to  take  hold  of  the  other  mans  wrist.   He  holds  it   tight.   He’s  unfazed  by  the  display  of  aggression,   still  feels  the  desire  to  taunt  the  other  man  despite  of  it.    Bill  was  like  a  dog  without  teeth :   all  bark  and  no  bite.    Even  if  he  tried,   Arthur  was  certain  it  would  be  nothing  on  his  part  to  put  him  down.

           ❛  Now  I’d  think   carefully   ‘bout  what  yer  doin’  ❜    He  squeezes  tighter,   enough  to  hurt  in  just  the  slightest.   A  silent  promise,   one  that  would  be  simple  to  keep…    And  he  was  a  man  who  didn’t  make  them  lightly.    ❛  Damn  Bill,   all’a  this  anger  just  ‘cause  y’can’t  take  a  little  messin’  around?  ❜

  bill isn’t letting up, not at first. arthur’s hand clasps around his wrist like a snare, drawing in tight. reminds to steady himself, snapping at arthur is like trying to bite at the neck of the biggest wolf in the pack, never mindful when it gets this tense. reeling back his anger is a difficult task, it would be almost painful to pull each and every finger from the fabric of his shirt, wants to do nothing more but to knock that look off his face. 

              He  can’t  help  but  outright   scoff   at  him,   doesn’t  find  that  he  cares  much  if  it  makes  the  other  man  more  upset.   It  was  laughable  at  best  for  Bill  to  compare  himself  to  anyone,   except  perhaps  Uncle.   He  was  as  worthless  as  a  summers’  day  was  long,   just  as  irritating  and  unrelentingly  avoidable  too.   He  sets  his  arms  across  his  chest  in  stand  against  the  tide  turned  towards  him.   Arthur  doesn’t  bother  hiding  the  snide  tone  in  his  voice  nor  the  mocking  grin  uplifting  the  corner  of  his  mouth.  

            ❛  I’m  sorry.  ❜    He’s  not  in  the  slightest.    ❛  Am  I  lookin’  fer  the  wrong  name  in  the  ledger  then?   Thought  it  was  Bill  but  maybe  I  should  be  lookin’  for   Marion   instead    -     ❜

              Bill  is  quick  to  temper  but  Arthur  feels  no  reason  to  be  concerned  by  his   bleating.    He  could  be  as  loud  as  he  wanted  in  his  distaste  but  it  still  didn’t  mean  he  would  do  something  about  it.   Or  that  he’d  succeed  if  he  did  make  an  attempt.    ❛  Well,   you’d  know  all  about   shit   wouldn’t  you,   Bill?   Seein’  as  yer  a  lazy  sack  o’one.  ❜

           ❛  Don’t  y’have  anythin’  better  t’do  than  start  somethin’   y’can’t   finish    -    or  hell,   that  seems  t’be  your  thing,   ain’t  it ?  ❜
