Observations of neurotypical’s from 3 years
3 or so years ago I decided to make a TikTok account, it think it was for learning how to do makeup, and because of that the algorithm gives me access to allistic content from there spaces and to personal discussions they have about relationships, social relations, politics, and etc etc. I felt like I was self improving instead of being infantilized and sheltered by the fandom spaces I put myself to live so long inside. I was enjoying girly conversations and adult conversations I was never included into or invited to experience I felt a part of myself heal even though it’s not true connection with these digital ah-ha discussions among them. Non the less I enjoyed my maturity self improvement ,even though part of myself hated the real life allistic I live with that was negative cloud of being uptight prude hater of anything expressive or is the hater of aspects of my identity, then the ugly side of allistics would regularly show up on my feed. From trends of audios and footage of putting down there ‘beloved’ nerdy boyfriend by implying ‘he wouldn’t cheat because he’s a loser teehee’ and the girlfriend recording this is usually conventionally attractive , socially adjusted woman. Or the time the neurotypicals bullied and mocked an autistic woman off TikTok because she stimmed from excitement of seeing a REAL LIFE ,UP CLOSE , HUGE WHALE almost near shore Or the weird kid post trend. basically cringe culture never died the bullies became conservative, philistine, Dementors of expression and joy. And yet allistics get to be on top of the hierarchy when what they bring to an interview is personality not merit and they get hired!! While mostly divergent employees with merit get fired because the normies got uncomfortable with someone not playing there stupid reindeer games!
