We were talking bout 3d modeling cuz we're both into that before class he talked about a meme he saw bout it. Minutes passed HE FOUND THE MEME AND HE DIDN'T SHOW IT TO ME but to another person who was in the conversation w us.

UV maps
UV mapping is the act of translating a 3d model's surface onto a 2d plane, similarly to unfolding a cardboard box, and assigning U and V onto its vertices which correspond to a specific point on the 3d model.
UV maps are used in games to display textures of objects
With the can of cram from fallout it is very damaged and weathered as fallout is a game about the aftermath of nuclear fallout.
With the e cola bottle from GTAV it is a sarcastic name for both e coli and Coca Cola. Its not very detailed and doesn't look that great.
With the box of Richmond cigarettes from red dead redemption it is very elegant with gold and purple colours which typically mean royalty.
It's time again for "Behind the Crystal"! Today I'm hoping to finish off modelling work on the barrel model and start UV mapping the mesh. Go catch it above! ^^
