Apparently today is Loving Day, named after Richard and Milford Loving, the interracial couple whose lawsuit against the state of Virginia resulted in interracial marriage becoming legal in the United States. And so this day was made as a holiday for interracial relationships. I think that's very cool and deserves a tumblr post. Happy Loving Day to everyone in interracial relationships!

Hey I just marked up my sample ballot to take with me when I go to vote early in the Maryland primary so friendly reminder that you can do that! You can take notes into the voting booth with you! You don’t have to remember the names of everyone you want to vote for. My state sends everyone a sample ballot in the mail, which makes it super easy, but even if you don’t get that you can just write down the names on a piece of paper. Local elections are super important! If you can, take a little time to look up the candidates who are running for things like County Executive and judges and sheriff and write down who you think will do the best job, then go vote for them!

One of my Dr who pet peeves is when people talk about classic who like oh haha they had a shoestring budget and all the effects were tinfoil and bubblewrap, that's how doctor who is SUPPOSED to be, it doesn't need a budget! And it's like ok but classic who was made by professionals who worked very hard and often had good special effects ):<
