I am liberal in thoughts, words, and actions and I paid attention in history classes, so I have a pretty good idea what’s happening in my country. I also paid attention in climatology classes and I know how fast the biosphere on a planet can turn hostile. Therefore: I am seldom surprised or shocked by current events.
