domestic violence is defined as a pattern of behaviors exerting power and control over another.
power and control dynamics are inherent in all human relationships BUT if any spoke of this wheel reminds you of a relationship you are in GET OUT. there are resources to make a plan. if it seems impossible to leave know that it isn't. know that if your partner hasn't been violent before but demeans, manipulates, belittles, controls your decisions, blames you for their actions, or in any way disempowers you that they can kill you. dehumanization is one step along the path to death.
