Another thought I had was to remount it while keeping the original base and arm rests etc but then I looked up the part and it was 300 dollars (same price as a new gaming chair)

Rundown on my thoughts abt tesromac. Ahem

Prior to ending up in Coldharbour, Snippy was an imperial soldier sent to guard an expedition of scholars out in Solstheim. The entire team, save for him, died in an accident concerning a mysterious dwemer machination they'd nicknamed "the wishing well" for reasons beyond his ken.

Engie spent his career doing similar research into dwemer technology. Started all this by repairing an ancient, aetherium-based tonal network that he thought could aid in recovering previously lost non-physical libraries. In the process of tapping into this network, his assistant automata went rogue and zapped him off to Coldharbour.

Pilot was an assassin with the Morag Tong, got his face blown off by a worm cultist, then brought to Coldharbour to be used as a specimen in some very experimental necromancy. The reanimation went sideways. Pilot awoke frenzied and confused, immediately killing his would-be master before wandering off into the wastes. Despite his apparent freewill, he did gravitate towards minionhood for the most powerful sorcerer in the vicinity...

Captain.

Captain works towards zeer own unknowable goals, independent of any other faction in Coldharbour. That's all anyone can really tell for sure.

Playing through ill met by moonlight again and the bug where sinding won't be triggered to approach the cell door is happening. I should just enable the unofficial patch like a normal person but I could also wooden plate in and out of the cell like I normally do.... <- Bethesda problems require Bethesda solutions
