pop health science is so annoying bc it'll be like "did you know? eating strawberries will give you mega cancer" and you're like pfft whatever begone influencer. but sometimes then you'll see a reasonably credible article like "Study Shows Possible Link Between Strawberries and Mega Cancer" and you're not usually the type to follow that kind of thing religiously but idk maybe you should consider not eating strawberries? but then there's another article saying "Strawberry/Mega Cancer Study Debunked" and it turns out the original study had a sample size of 3 and was funded by Big Blueberry, and strawberries may have a small connection to mega cancer but only if you are genetically predisposed to mega cancer and eat 50 strawberries every day. so you return to your strawberry eating life. but whenever you eat strawberries in public someone tells you about the mega cancer.

Back in my day, it was the sugar packets that gave you diseases. The pink ones gave you cancer. The blue ones made you forget things. The "smart" people used one pink and one blue sugar packet. If they got cancer, they didn't want to remember it.

I wanted Momster to be a part of the Doomies. Even if all she did was show up every now and again to see how Bobbie was doing.

The way Supergirl fights means she can just so easily kill a human and I doubt she has mastered or maybe even tried to control that strength. Which is why she is so perfect to have a story in space where she is weakened and faces off against stronger species. This is also why Superman is perfect for Earth because all hes learned his whole life is how to control his powers, he never goes all out because he knows how weak people can be. So if he ever went to space he'd probably get his ass kicked, but on Earth hes the perfect safe, diplomatic superhuman. While Supergirl would go all out and suplex someone's skull into the ground.

Superman waits to see if his opponent can take a hit from him. If they can, he'll pull off the most ridiculous maneuvers in a fight. Supergirl doesn't wait to see if you can take a hit from her. You interrupted her personal time. So she is gonna end this fight as soon as possible to get back to it.

I remember right after the Superman movie come out everyone was making the “Clark saved Lex’s life by saving Krypto before Kara ever found out” jokes and its absolutely fantastic to me how supergirl 100% confirmed that to be true. The problem with Batman in his present incarnation is that we need simultaneously to believe that this is a man who can effortlessly ninja his way through dozens of gun-toting mercenaries, and that this is a man to whom Danny DeVito with an umbrella is a credible threat.

Okay, that was glib – let me expand. I'm fully aware that Batman comics generally don't have him fighting guys like the Penguin one on one these days. That's not the problem. The problem is that superhero power creep has rendered Batman functionally immune to hired goons, but owing to his roots as a street-level vigilante, like half of his classic villains are guys whose primary threat vector is the ability to field arbitrary numbers of hired goons. There just aren't a lot of ways to work around that without either doing violence to the villain's idiom or making Batman carry the idiot ball – though I'll grant that some of the attempted workarounds have been very entertaining!

I forgot My Adventurers with Superman is made by Studio Mir. This means the animation is top notch, however, it also makes me think about Voltron Legendary Defender and it drives me nuts. In particular, Ivo's Parasite armor makes him look like VLD’s Zarkon. It's uncanny.

For a time Hank Henshaw was a fairly prominent Green Lantern villian, so i think it'd be kinda hilarious if Hank beefed with the 13 year old Jessica Cruz in My Adventures with Green Lantern.

He's taking lessons from Slade, who will go on to beef with a boy wonder.
