me and my mum speak french to each other quite a lot, and when i go to bed we always say âdors bien, je tâaime, beaux rĂŞvesâ which means âsleep well, i love you, sweet dreamsâ. also, sometimes she calls me âma chèreâ which is the feminine version of âmy dearâ or âma petiteâ which is the same for âlittle oneâ. BUT. since ive been home from uni iâve noticed that sheâs changed a bit in the things she calls me to âmon cherâ and âmon petitâ. in doing this sheâs recognising that i respond to male pronouns and sheâs starting to properly respect my identity as a guy, and im beyond grateful to her because of that
