This is the situation with mental health in this country and probably everywhere else. Society treats mental health issues and illnesses with such disregard because they just can't see them. Society can see when a person suffers with stroke, when a person cuts their arm, when a person is bleeding, but when it comes to the person who is fighting a war in their mind, is dealing with so much pain inside, enough pain to contemplate suicide, society looks the other way, because only the sufferer can see inside. 09.09.15 was my last day at work to pursue bigger ambitions. I've made so many valuable connections and relationships that I won't forget. "If only I had known Cecil had a name". This entire sentence basically sums that only humans or human like creatures are worthy of humane treatment, according to this numb nuts. By giving the lion a name, it personifies it and therefore gives it human like qualities. Whether is had a name or not, poaching is disgusting. There is no benefit in killing a lion to hang it's head on your wall. Now lions are facing extinction as well as rhinos and tigers. They are being butchered for their parts which we don't need, only to make money. Just because this lion had a name and a perimeter, shouldn't make it okay for any other lion or wild animal to be poached because they aren't given the "luxury" of a name or perimeter. Poaching must stop. Yesterday was a birthday treat for my little brother. He hit 10 years old and I took him to Oxygen free run trampoline park. It was well wicked! They had 120 trampolines, dodge ball, foam pit, air bag, ropes and basketball hoops! The park was ours for 2 hours and for the first time in a while I felt like a big kid.
