he is whiter then snow. this man is pure 100% american redneck in everything but the politics. this is intimidating if you dont know him because he owns like 3 different guns but also has animated discussions about “how his sister should be able to get married” when you bring up lgbt rights. his sister isnt even gay or trans or anything, he just thinks that LGBT rights also means that the lady should propose when she wants to. hes a little confused but he got the spirit. upon finding out that i am queer he said, word for word “THATS FUCKING RADICAL HOMIE” 

in the first week of school he snorted a line of pepper in the cafeteria and threw up.

the only other crime hes committed before was accidently dropping a weight from his balcony and cracking the sidewalk. which is technically destruction of public property but the judge basically laughed at him and have him 10 hours of community service

7) one of this guy’s big lines is “they don’t want me to tell you because they want to prevent mass hysteria because humanity isn’t ready”. so why is he telling us? isn’t he afraid of what the aliens will do? why is he still in regular enough contact to know this when he retired 9 years ago? trying to evoke the exciting feeling of being let in on a big secret. the phrasing implies he was telling this to a reporter but asking the reporter not to publish which would be a weird choice

8) the idea of an “underground mars base”. no idea how viable a base underground on mars is in real life but it’s definitely an exciting memetic concept in science fiction, so add that to the pile of sci fi memes this guy is using to lend his story credibility

I am SO excited to share with you the first scene of my new webcomic, Death and the Maiden. I will be posting a new page every Monday, as well as every other Friday! Starting this Friday, October 30!! 

The story follows a young necromancer who still needs to work on the actual ability to necromance, and her best friend, who brews potions for people who are still alive to begin with. They are both just out there in this urban fantasy world trying to be their best selves (well, one of then is trying, the other one is doing a bad job at necromancy and mostly focusing on that). 

The story will be full of friendships and failures, with the occasional hijink, and the odd magic spell. 

NPC: look, I want to help you understand but I can’t. They wont let me. But if you think about what you know so far, I’m sure you can figure out what we are dealing with and how to properly prepare.

Player 1: Wait…wait! Hold on. I think i’m onto something. So, we know something is living in the water that keeps people from leaving, right?”

NPC: right

Player 1: and that there is a weird cult in robes made of shimmering scales that abducts “chosen” young people and brings them to the church with the cliff-side waterfall.

NPC: Yes, yes that’s right.

Player 1: and down in those caves by the beach, when the tide comes in we heard someone singing, trying to charm us deeper into the flooded cave system.

NPC (getting excited): Yes! Yes that right. You are almost there!
