I hate that people think euroleague is where people get better. Dorks was MVP over there but is no where near MVP in the wnba. A player getting better comes down to the coaches, people and their mindset, not on what league they choose to join in the offseason.

There’s gonna be couch coaches saying Kate needs to go overseas. Friendly reminder, she’s part of the Unrivaled inaugural roster and the inaugural rostered players get equity in the league. For all we know she signed an extended contract with Unrivaled. Kate will do what’s best for her and I’m tired of seeing people talk like they know better and more than her or what’s best for her. How old are some of you anyway? Ever played at the pro level? No? Or do you just want Kate to play overseas so you can watch her play? It ain’t about you. Where you get better is during practice. Not Kate’s fault she has an under qualified coach right now.

All I’m suggesting is she switch up trainers. Kate already gave her reasons why she’d rather do Unrivaled vs going overseas. I’d rather be around the best basketball players in the world than go overseas, so can’t fault Kate for choosing to do that.

Do you think they should go overseas (Euroleague/Australia) this off season? I think it would be very good for both of them but I know 3x3 reps are beneficial for V with FIBA competitions.

What they do with their offseason and how they train is their business. They’ve been playing basketball for a long time. They know what’s best for them. I will say for Kate, maybe a different trainer. Nothing against Max, and I get that she’s loyal, but it’s good to mix it up and learn from other people. I’d like to see her train with Mike Dunn (shooting coach), and get with DJ Sackman because just look at how he’s helped Marina.

I won’t be surprised if they train together this offseason either.

everything about the sparks sucks right now and I’m sure Kate didn’t think she would end up at the end of the bench after being upgraded (obviously due to Robert’s incompetence), but I firmly believe everything happens for a reason and while this year has prob sucked for Kate bball wise I think something good will eventually come from this.
