The problem with having OCs is that sometimes you wanna read about your little guy being in situations but unfortunately he is YOUR little guy and no one is gonna put him in that situation but you. Tragic.

Anyway my thoughts on Tomb Quest are that everything else was great but the one problem with it is that they made it out like Ben was going to be an actual character but he turned out to be basically just a plot device. They never gave him any character traits, never talked about what he was like as a player or reminisced about memorable things he did at the table, he's just there to give the party a reason to be getting back together after 19 years. Corey Dorris is a great actor and singer but they've previously typecasted him in supporting roles as somebody's dad, so I was really excited to finally see him in a role where he's the same age as the entire rest of the cast, so this was a bit of a letdown
